Trading Cards Comic Shops in Illinois
9 shops in Illinois
These stores combine comics with trading cards — from Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering singles to sports cards and supplies. Many buy, sell, and trade, and some host card-game events and tournaments.
Comic Rodeo tags nine Illinois shops for trading cards, out of 208 nationwide, spread across eight Illinois cities. The largest are Springfield (2), Benton (1), Berwyn (1), Champaign (1), and Manteno (1), with the other three cities holding one each. Every Illinois comic shop — tagged or not — is listed on the state page.
Business hours are on file for nine of the nine. Eight of those open on Sunday. Four stay open to 8pm or later on at least one day. Seven of the nine list a website. All trading cards shops nationwide are listed on the national page. Hours are as recorded in each listing rather than live.
These nine shops are part of the 132 Illinois listings Comic Rodeo holds in total. Five of them also carry another tag — most often tabletop gaming (3) and toys and collectibles (3). The other four are tagged for trading cards only. Every shop page here carries the address, the hours as recorded, and a directions link.
