Tucked inside The Groove on Calvin Avenue in Nashville, Wakeup Comics is a local comic book destination in Tennessee's urban landscape. The shop operates Tuesday through Sunday and closes on Mondays, offering regular weekend access to collectors and readers in the area. A website is listed for the shop.

Like many neighborhood comic book stores, shops in this category typically stock new weekly releases, back-issue bins spanning decades, trade paperback collections, and subscription services for regular pull lists. These spaces often function as gathering points where local readers exchange recommendations, discuss upcoming releases, and build community around the medium. Whether browsing current arrivals or hunting for older inventory, visitors encounter the mix of inventory and conversation that characterizes independent comic retail.
